For the National Student Advertising Competition, our client for 2017 was Tai Pei frozen Asian entrees and appetizers. For this campaign, we were asked to increase Tai Pei's brand awareness and bring excitement to the frozen food aisle. I worked specifically on the Media team as the Media Director. We created a campaign that was compelling to the audience and that would drive younger millennials to engage with the content rather than conventional advertising tactics.
Holistic campaign for Snapple for the 2016 National Student Advertising Competition.
I worked specifically on the media team for this competition.
The Challenge was to increase top-of-mind awareness and sales throughout the nation.
We created something different. These media placements seek to enhance everyday moments of individuality while driving awareness and sales.
During creative week in New York, 102 advertising students from the University of Oregon, myself included, went to see agencies, sights, and experience the Big Apple. During this time, we learned about culture, the industry, and how to grow. These 4 pictures, with a written manifesto, were the take-away from myself and friend, Crystal Imah.
Emerald Grande Marketing
At Emerald Grande, I worked as a graphic design intern in the marketing department.
Through my time here, I had to convey messages on multiple platforms to a variety of audiences, but mainly tourists with families.
The goal was to increase heads in beds, feet on the street, and butts in seats. The primary objective through this was to advertise over social networks the events and celebrations that this tourist destination was having.
I worked with a team of 15 to put on weekly events, doing event management, production, graphic design, and press releases.
